f To use the Samsung Smart Home App to control your POWERbot, you must register the
POWERbot with the App. If you cannot complete the product registration, please take the
following steps:
– Refer to the popup message that appears if registration fails, and then retry the registration
procedure.
– Conrm that the UPnP option of your wireless router is active, and then retry the registration
procedure.
– Conrm that your wireless router is operating in wireless mode, and then retry the registration
procedure.
– If you have two or more POWERbots, turn off the other POWERbots, and then try to register the
unregistered POWERbot again. The connection must be one to one.
– If there is a wireless router near your router that has the same SSID as your router, normal
registration cannot be guaranteed.
– Conrm that your router has a unique SSID and password, and then retry the registration
procedure.
f Samsung Smart Home Service does not guarantee normal operation if your router has an
active rewall.
f If the POWERbot and your smart phone are not connected to the same wireless router,
response time delay may occur depending on your network environment.
f POWERbot Smart control and Wi-Fi indicators (The indicators can
either be on or off.)
– If On : Smart control is blocked. Only the remote control can be
used.
If Off : You can use Smart control.
–
If On : The POWERbot is connected to the wireless router.
If Off : The POWERbot is connecting to the wireless router.
f If Smart control is blocked, you cannot use the Samsung Smart Home App.
Using the Samsung Smart Home app
Creating your Samsung account
If you want to use the Samsung Smart Home app, you must register your
Samsung account using the Samsung account app.
Note
f If you do not set auto-login to the Samsung Smart Home app and
then run the app, the Samsung account screen appears once, the
rst time you use the app.
f If you are a user of a Samsung smart phone, register your Samsung
account in the settings of the smart phone. The automatic login
will be set without any other log in processes, and you can use the
Samsung Smart Home app immediately.
