TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS
• ReadLockSwitchandPCB(CN6&CN1).(RefertoPCBConnectorCheck.)
• PerformQuickTestMode.CheckDoorLock.ChecktheoutputvoltageofDoorLockCoil.
Ifitreads120V,changeDoorLockSwitch,andifnot,changePCB.(RefertoPCBConnectorCheck.)
No Key Operation
• OptionandFunctionbuttonsresponddierentlyaccordingtoeachcycle.
• ChildLockisbeingactivated.Toexit,holddownSoilLevelKeyandSignalKeysimultaneouslyuntilitsends
outabeepingsound.
• When“End“illuminatesonthedisplay,onlyPowerbuttonworks.PressPowerbuttonandmakenewcycle
selections.
Will Not Drain
• Checkforanykinkonthedrainhose.Ifany,straightitout.
• Checkforanyrestrictioninthedrainhose.
• ClosethedoorandpresstheStart/PauseButton.Forsafetyreasons,thewasherdoesnottumbleorspinwith
thedooropen.
• Whenitisfreezingoutside,checkifitisfrozeninsidethedrainhose.
• Checkifthewaterlevelsignalinputiscorrect.GotoBoardInputTestMode.
• GotoQuickTestModeanddoDrainPumpTest.
• Checkifthereisanytwistinthehose(theonebetweenTubandDrainPump).
• CheckifitreadsAC120Vatthepumpwhenaspincycleisselected.
• Readthewindingresistanceofthepumpmotor.(14.2±7%Ohms)
• CheckthepumpatCN1(PIN3)onPCB.ItshouldreadAC110~120V.(RefertoPCBConnectorCheck)
Wrong Water Temperature
• Checkifbothofthewatertapsarefullyopen.
• Makesurethedomesticwaterheaterissettodeliverwaterlowerthan120°F(49°C)hotwateratthetap.
Alsocheckwaterheatercapacityandrecoveryrate.
• Ifthewaterheaterislocatedfarfromthewasher,screwoutthehotwatertapandletitswaterpassuntilyou
gethotwater.
• TooHot/TooCold:ReducedamountofwaterissuppliedwhilePCBcontrolstheinuxtoregulatetheactual
temperatureofthewaterinthetub.Thismayappeartobesignicantlyhotter/colderthanexpected.
• Checkifthetemperatureselectioniscorrect.
• DisconnectinlethosesfromtheWaterValveandremoveanyresidueintheinletscreens.
Noisy and/or Vibration/Walking
• CheckifthewasherisleveLCD/LEDandthelocknutsaretighteneduponthebottomplate.
• Checkifalloftheshippingboltsandspacersareremovedfromthebackpanel.
•
Checkifloadisbigenoughandthereisnounbalance.Ifthereisnotenoughload,putinafewtowelstobalanceit.
• Checkifthemotorisfastenedenough.
• Removevarioustroublecontributors(suchasdustcoatontheoor).
Rubber Feet Leaving Marks on Floor
• Useapencilerasertoremovemark.
• Walkwasherintolocation,donotdrag.
Additive Cups Full of Water
• Smallamountofwaterinbottomofadditivecupsisnormal.
• RemoveandwashDispenserTray,removableCup,andRinseCap.
• Levelwasher.
Buttons do not Respond
• OptionandFunctionbuttonsresponddierentlyaccordingtoeachcycle.
• ChildLockfeaturehasbeenselected.TodisablefeaturepressandholdTempandSpinsimultaneouslyuntila
beepisheard.
• Whendisplayshows“End”,onlythePowerbuttonwillfunction.PressPowerandmakenewcycleselections.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Toavoidriskofelectricalshock,personalinjuryordeath;disconnectpowertowasher
beforeservicing,unlesstestingrequirespower.
