As People Counting and Heat Map are intended to provide statistical data rather than real-time accuracy, moving objects or
animals may be counted in the number of people.
`
The lens of the camera used for the people counting and heat map functions should be pointed directly towards the ground.
(refer to Figure 1)
`
The error of the measured data may be increased in the following cases.
-
When the camera is installed in a space with an insufficient visual field.
-
Night and low-light environment (refer to Figure 2)
-
Environment is one in which sudden changes in illumination occur (for example, being affected by strong light such as
direct sunlight, sunset, sunrise or direct lighting) (refer to Figure 3)
-
Motion is continuously detected in a fixed spot (for example, around the entrance door) (refer to Figure 4)
-
When several people gather and move together
-
When the moving object stays near the virtual line
-
If setting a rule in an outskirt area of the image (refer to Figure 5)
-

people counted may be smaller than the actual number.

counted may be larger than the actual number.
