Installation

Reader Mechanical Installation
The MP9310 is designed for installation with the enclosure. The following
instructions provide the information to install your UHF reader.
As shown in Figure 5, enclosure is provided with four M3-6 threaded inserts for
horizontal or vertical installation. If the threaded inserts are not used, mounting
brackets may be required. Contact SAMSys for additional mounting instructions.

Reader Electrical Installation
As shown in Figure 6, the MP9310 is equipped with a 26-post header (2x13, 0.05"
center, 0.016"sq post
) for power, ground, and communication connections. The
antenna connection is provided by a right-angle, bulk-head mount SMA connector.
An optional Ethernet connector provides TCP/IP connectivity.
