3.1.2 Use Device for PXE
This function is used to select the Ethernet devices for booting via PXE. This reduces the boot
time if network boot is needed only on one particular device, not on all devices.
Note: This function is available only when the function Launch PXE OpROM is set to En-
abled.
Default setting: All
Note: There is no PXE support for the Ethernet connector GbE E.
3.1.3 Launch Storage OpROM
Default setting: Enabled
3.1.4 Boot Video
This function is used to select the preferred boot video device for the POST output.
Default setting: PCI/Onboard
SETTING DESCRIPTION
All Use this setting to provide PXE support for the Ethernet connectors GbE A, GbE B, GbE C
and GbE D.
01:00.0 Use this setting to provide PXE support only for the Ethernet connector GbE C.
01.00.1 Use this setting to provide PXE support only for the Ethernet connector GbE D.
02:00.0 Use this setting to provide PXE support only for the Ethernet connector GbE A.
02.00.1 Use this setting to provide PXE support only for the Ethernet connector GbE B.
SETTING DESCRIPTION
Disabled Use this setting to disable this function.
Enabled Use this setting to specify that legacy PCI option ROMs for PCI storage devices are to be
loaded and executed, if found. Typical examples of PCI storage devices include SCSI or
similar devices.
SETTING DESCRIPTION
PCI/Onboard Use this setting to specify that an external PCI video device is to be used for POST output,
if present. If no PCI video device is present, the onboard video device will to be used for the
POST output.
Onboard Use this setting to specify that the onboard video device is to be used for the POST output.
