– High pressure coolant
In order to achieve chip-breaking in tita-
nium alloys and to prolong tool life or
to have increased productivity due to
higher feeds we recommend to install high
pressure coolant in your machine.
Accurate coolant jets with laminar parall-
lel flow, are easily channeled through the
Coromant Capto® coupling.
The jets produce a hydraulic wedge, lift-
ing the chip, reducing the temperature and
improving the chip control. See the illustra-
tion.
