Listening to Bluetooth music
YouneedtopairyourBluetoothdevicewithyourradiobeforeyoucanauto‐linktoplay/streamBluetooth
musicthroughyourradio.Paringcreatesapermanent`bond'sotwodevicescanalwaysrecognizeeach
other.
Pairing your Bluetooth device
1.PresstheSOURCEbutton toselectBluetoothfunction.“BTREADY”willbeshownonthedisplay
and‘READY’willflashwithevery2secondsinterval.
2.ActivateBluetoothonyourdeviceaccordingtothedevice'susermanualtoallowtheparingprocedure.
Withsomeoldtypemobiles(versionsearlierthanBT2.1Bluetoothdevice),youmayneedtoinputthepass
code“0000”.
3.PressandreleasethePAIRbutton ,then“BTPAIR”willbeshownonthedisplayanditwillflash
with1secondinterval.YoucanstartthesearchofXRM04onyourBluetoothdevice.OnceXRM04appeared
onyourBluetoothdevice,presstheiteminyourBluetoothlistanditwilllinkwithyourradio.
4.Onceconnected,“BLUETOOTH”willremainonthedisplayandthebacklightwillbedim‐outin10
seconds.
YoucannowplaythemusicinyourBluetooth‐enableddeviceviayourradio.
Note:
a)Ifthereare2BluetoothdevicessearchingforXRM04,itwillshowitsavailabilityonbothdevices.
However,ifonedevicelinkswiththisunitfirst,thentheotherBluetoothdevicewon'tfinditonitslist.
b)IfyourBluetoothdeviceistemporarilydisconnectedtoyourradio.Aslongasthedisconnectionlast
within7minutes,yourdevicecanre‐connectwithyourradioagainautomatically.Ifthedisconnectionlast
morethan7minutes,thenyouneedtomanuallyreconnectyourdeviceagaintotheradio.Beawarethat
duringtheperiodofdisconnection,nootherBluetoothdevicecanpairorlinkwithyourradio.
c)If‘XRM04’showsinyourBluetoothdevicelistbutyourdevicecannotconnectwithit,pleasedeletethe
XRM04itemfromyourlistandpairthedevicewithyourradioagainfollowingthestepsdescribed
previously.
d)Theeffectiveoperationrangebetweentheradioandthepaireddeviceisapproximately10meters(30
feet).
e)Anyobstaclebetweentheradioandthedevicecanreducetheoperationalrange.
