Sangean America Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in material

~ and workmanship under normal use and conditions for a period of one year from ~

~ the date of original purchase on parts and labor.

~ Should service be necessary for any reason due to manufacturing defect or ~

malfunction during the warranty period Sangean America Inc. will repair or replace ~

~ at its discretion, the defective merchandise at no charge ( except for a small ~

~ charge for handling, packing, return postage and insurance ), upon delivery of this ~

~ product to Sangean America Inc. service center with a copy of proof of purchase ~

~ ~. ~

~ Before returning the merchandise for service, verify that the batteries are in ~

~ proper operating condition. Weak or defective batteries are common causes of ~

~ problems encountered. Should service still be required: ~

~ 1) Remove the balleries ( if applicable) and carefully pack the unit along with ~

_ . ~ all its accessories in a suitable well padded corrugated box. ~

~ ~_ 2) Enclose copy of proof of date of purchase and a letter describing ~

~ your specific problem. ~

~ 3) Enclose your check or money order payable to Sangean America Inc. ~

~ for the sum of $8.00. ~

~ 4) Ship the unit via UPSor parcel post prepaid to Sangean America Inc. ~

~ Service center ( listed below ). ~

~ S) Be sure to insure your package. ~

~ NOTE: this warranty dose not cover: ~

~ a) Units that have been misused or damaged by accident. ~

~ b) Units that have been repaired or altered by persons other than ~

~ Sangean America Inc. Service Center. ~

~ c) Damages caused by leaking batteries. ~

~ This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and does not extend to ~.

~ owners of the products subsequent to the original purchase. Any applicable ~ -

~ implied warranties, including the warranty of merchantability, are limited in ~

~ duration to a period of one year from the date of original purchase at retail and no ~

~ warranties, whether expressed or implied, shall apply to this product thereafter. ~

~ Under no circumstances shall Sangean America Inc. be liable for any loss or ~

~ damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use of, or inability to use this ~

~ product. ( Some states do not allow limitation or implied warranties or exclusion of ~
