Ŷ Do not connect the product to a computer, as the high charging
current could damage the computer.

1. Remove any packaging films, stickers or transport
protections from the product. Never remove the type labels!
2. Screw the retractable pole (6),
and the base plate (7) together.
Charge the battery (see the chapter “Charging the battery”).
Included in delivery
Check the scope of delivery for completeness, and the compo-
nents for transport damage. If theproductisdamaged,donotuse
the product, but contact customer service immediately.
A USB mains adapter (DC 5 V 1A) is also required. This is
not included in the delivery!

Charging the battery
PLEASE NOTE!
Ŷ Use a USB mains adapter that is designed for 5 V and at least
1000 mA. Do not connect to a computer!
Ŷ Make sure the power outlet the USB mains adapter is plugged
into has been properly installed. The socket must be easily ac-
cessible, so that the power connection can be quickly discon-
nected.
1. Connect the USB cable to the lamp’s socket (5)andaUSB
mains adapter.
2. Plug the USB mains adapter into a socket.
3. After charging, unplug the USB mains adapter from the socket
and then the USB cable from the lamp’s socket.
