5. Acessories for your CCD Camera

This section describes several of the common Accessories designed to work

with the ST-8300.

Color Filter Wheel

The CFW-8300 enables collection of LRGB color images, narrowband and

photometric images with the ST-8300. The CFW-8300 is a 5-position filter

wheel that holds 36mm diameter filters for unvignetted images at fast focal

ratios. It can be added at any time. Check our web site for new filter

wheels holding more than 5 filters for this model camera.

Camera Lens Adapters

T-to-C adapter screws into the T-Thread on the front of the camera

and enables use of the ST-8300 with standard C-Mount camera lenses.

CLA-5, 35mm camera lens adapters. This adapter includes a T-to-C

adapter and a brand specific lens adapter for Nikon, Canon FD, and Minolta

35mm camera lenses (manual lenses only - specify when ordering).

12V Battery Cable

This power cable enables the use of the ST-8300 in the field from a car

cigarette lighter plug or direct from a battery. The cable has a locking

power plug at one end and a cigarette lighter plug at the other. A separate

section adds battery clips for direct attachment to battery terminals.

Extension Power Cable

This low loss extension cable lets you put the universal power supply well

away from the camera and mount. It is 8 feet long and has locking plugs on

both ends.

Relay Adapter Box

Older telescopes may not be compatible with our optically isolated

telescope driver. We also sell a Relay Adapter Box that contains four

electromechanical relays with Normally-Open, Normally-Closed and

Common connections for each of the four directions.
