Troubleshooting Guide
If this unit is not recognized by a PC: (ICR-FP700D only)
Follow the procedure below to check for problems.
- Check whether or not the supplied USB connection cable is used for connection.
- Close all applications.
- Remove all USB devices leaving only the regular mouse and keyboard. In this
state, connect this unit to the PC.
- If the PC is equipped with multiple USB terminals, connect this unit to each
terminal sequentially.
- If this unit is connected to a bus power type USB hub (peripheral for distributing
USB terminals), remove the USB hub from the PC and connect this unit directly
to a USB terminal of the PC.
Buttons do not respond.
Possible cause The hold function is set.
Corrective action
Turn off the hold function.

Possible cause The unit is still coonnected to the PC. (ICR-FP700D only)
Corrective action Disconnect the unit from the PC. (See Page 45)
Troubleshooting

Possible cause The SD card is locked.
Corrective action Unlock the SD card. (See Page 16)
" " is displayed on the screen and playback cannot be conducted.
Possible cause
The file format is not compatible for playback on this unit or the
file is damaged.
Corrective action Use a compatible file in the mp3 format.
