Making and Answering Calls
Holding Your Phone
To maximize performance, do not obstruct the internal antenna
area.
Making Calls
1. Make sure your phone is on.
2. Enter a phone number from standby mode. If you make a
mistake while dialing, press to erase the numbers.
3. Press .
4. Press when you are finished.
You can also place calls from your phone by speed dialing
(page 19), by using Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR,
page 57), and by using your History listings (page 42).
Dialing Options
When you enter numbers in standby mode, you can see available
dialing options by pressing
OPTIONS
(right softkey).
Abbreviated Dialing
to place calls using the abbreviated dialing
feature. (See “Abbreviated Dialing” on page 19.)
Save
to save a phone number in your Contacts. (See “Saving a
Phone Number” on page 17.)
Hard Pause
to insert a hard pause. (See “Dialing and Saving
Phone Numbers With Pauses” on page 18.)
2-Sec. Pause
to insert a two-second pause. (See “Dialing
and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses” on page 18.)
