Chapter 2 Getting Started This chapter describes the hardware interface of the SONYA NAM-4030 and 2.1.2 External Features its peripherals. Instructions for setting up the device and some basic system operations are also discussed. Contents 2.2 Mounting the NAM-4030 in your vehicle WARNING: Do not use the car mount kit under low temperatures, The cradle may come off because of insufficient suction power. T WARNING: Do not fix the holder within the deployment zone of airbags. ‘ The NAM-4030 comes with a car meant kit and a car adapter to help install your device in your vehicle. The car mount kit uses a suction cup on the windshield/dashboard to offer flexible mounting options for the NAM-4030.

This is called a “soft reset.” If your device still does not respond, do a “hard reset.” To do a “hard reset,” Disconnect all cables, including the AC adapter, from your device.
