10. Messaging
New Messages
You can set your phone to display an icon and message
notification or just display an icon notification when you
receive a new text message or Web Alert. See “Setting
Message Notification Display” on page 41.
To view a new message with an icon and message
notification:

A text message or a Web Alert will automatically appear on
your phone’s screen with icon.
To view a new message with an icon notification or during
other operations:
©
icon will appear on your phone’s screen. To view
messages, see “Displaying Messages” on page 102.
Note: When there are two or more notifications, a Missed Alerts list displayed in
standby mode. Highlight a text message in the list and press (left softkey)
to display the message details.

Press (left softkey) to dial the callback number.

Press (left softkey) to reply to the sender.
v
Press (left softkey) to go to the Web site.
v
Press (left softkey) to forward the message
(appears only if there is no sender’s phone number, email
address, or callback number).
