Display Settings

Changing the Phone’s Menu Style

Your phone allows you to choose how the main menu appears

on your display screen.

1. Select > (right softkey) >Change View.

2. Select Grid View or List View.

Grid View to view each main menu item as an animated

single-screen icon. You can select a menu by pressing

a number key. Allocation of menu options corresponds

to that of number keys on the keypad.

List View to view main menu as a list. Menu option is

numbered and you can select it by pressing the

corresponding number key on the key pad.

Changing the Backlight Time Length

To change the backlight setting:

1. Select > Settings > Display > Main Screen > Backlight.

2. Select Always On, Dim Only, or a preset length of time.

To change the keypad backlight setting:

1. Select > Settings > Display > Keypad Light.

2. Select Always Off or a preset length of time.

Note: Long backlight settings affect the phone’s talk and standb

y times.

Power Save Mode

This feature helps conserve your battery power.

1. Select > Settings > Display > Power Save Mode.

2. A message appears. Press (left softkey) to continue.

3. Select On. (Select Off to deactivate this feature.)
