Setting the Text Entry Options
1. Select > Settings >Text Entry.
2. Select an option and press .
n
Auto-Capital to set the auto-capital on or off.
n
Auto-Space to set the auto-space on or off after T9
words you enter.
n
Input Language t o select the language (English or
French).
n
My Words to add a word to or edit a word in the T9
database (see page 26).
n
T9 Settings to customize the T9 settings (see page 26).
n
Default Input to select T9 word, Alphabet, or Retain Mode
for the initial entry mode. Set Retain Mode to retain the
previous entry mode (see page 28).
n
Add Word to store words that you use frequently
(see page 25).
n
Auto-Complete to automatically display words that may
follow the current text input.
n

Auto Answer Mode
This feature sets the phone to automatically pick up incoming
calls in speakerphone mode or hands-free mode (when
connected).
1. Select > Settings > More... > Call Setup > Auto-Answer.
2. Select Hands-free or Speakerphone.
3. Select 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, or Off.
