Changing the microphone mode
The unit comes with built-in omnidirectional stereo microphone and zoom microphone that
you can choose according to the recording scene.

Turn on the power. From the
basic screen, press the MENU/
PLAY LIST button.

Press the VOL (+/–) button to
select “REC MENU”, and then
press the
/OK button.

Press the VOL (+/–) button to
select the “MIC MODE” setting,
and then press the
/OK button.

Press the / button to select
a desired microphone mode, and
then press the
/OK button.
• Pressing the / button
repeatedly enables you to cycle
through the following microphone
modes: STEREO

ZOOM (mono)

STEREO again.

Press the MENU/PLAY LIST button
to exit the menu.
• When you change the microphone mode,
its icon on the screen also changes.
