Step 3
STEP 3: ATTACH WHEEL TRAYS TO FRAME
SINGLE AND DOUBLE SIDED:
• Standard spacing – standard bike spacing is 18” on center. Use “Square
oriented holes on cross bar (part F) to achieve standard bike spacing. To
connect Bike trays to rack, use bolt (part I) and nut (Part M) to secure Bike
Tracs to the cross bar (part F).
• Note: An additional Bike Trac can be added to all increase bike capacity by
1 bike for single sided racks, and 2 bikes for double sided racks. This will
change bike spacing to 14.5” on center. Use Diamond oriented holes on
cross bar (part F) when securing bike tracs.
STEP 4: MOUNTING RACK TO FLOOR
Mounting rack to oor is recommended for single sided models, and required
for double sided models.
• Before drilling mounting holes in concrete oor, investigate whether any
mechanicals are imbedded in concrete (ie. Radiant heat, water supply or drain
pipes…)
• Determine desired location of unit (mark hole locations using foot, part D, as
a guide).
• Using a ½” masonry drill bit, drill holes in cement 2” deep.
• Insert anchor shields into holes and tap in place with a hammer.
• Align holes in product foot (part D) with anchors and secure with 5/16 -8 x 2”
bolts.
