t Configure how Microsoft Excel treats numbers:
In Excel, go to File – Options – Advanced – Editing options and set the
following separators:
– Decimal separator: Period
– Thousand separator: Empty (none)
t Configure the typographical quotation marks for OpenOffice Calc:
In Calc, go to Tools – Autocorrect Options – Custom Quotes and set the
following “Simple quotes”:
– At the beginning of a word: empty space (U+200F)
– At the end of a word: “
