Satechi warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year. If
this product is found to be defective within that time, we will repair or replace it. This warranty does
not cover accidental damage, wear and tear, or consequential or incidental loss. Under no
conditions is Satechi liable for loss of, or damage to devices; nor loss of, or damage to, programs,
records, or data; nor any consequential or incidental damages, even if Satechi has been informed
of their possibility. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Wiring Instructions
e-SATA: connect one end of the e-SATA cable to the enclosure, then connect the
other end to your computer.
USB3.0: connect the “Y” end of the USB3.0 cable to the enclosure, then connect
the other end to your computer.

CAUTION!
• Enclosure may reach external temperature of 50°C. Please handle with care.
• Move and install the drive by handling the sides; do NOT touch the circuitry.
• Do NOT disconnect the device from your computer without ejecting first. To do this, right click
the drive in “My Computer” and click “eject.”
• When installing drive into the enclosure, ensure the SATA connecters are in line. Do not use
excessive force during installation.
• Read your drive’s manual before installation.
• Avoid blunt force to the device and avoid storing the device in hot or humid areas.
