Connections
Connecting
a
TV
monitor
or
projector
According to the types
of
video input jacks available on your video monitor (such as a TV or projector), choose one
of
the connection methods as shown below. When you connect video players such as a DVD player to this unit with an
HDMI connection, connect your video monitor to this unit with an HDMI connection.
Note
Make sure that this unit and other components are unplugged from the
AC
wall outlets.

To
output sound
of
a TV from this unit, make connection
between one
of
the
AV
1-6 jacks
of
this unit and an audio
output jack
of
the
TV.
If
the TV supports an optical digital output, we
recommend that you use the
AV
I jack. Connecting to the
AV
1jack allows you to switch an input source to the
AV
1
jack with a just a single key operation using the SCENE
function (page 22).
