Getting to Know Your AURA
14
Your vehicle is equipped with an
Automatic Headlamp System, which
turns on the Daytime Running Lamps
in the daytime and the headlamps and
other exterior lamps at night or when
necessary. The headlamps also will turn
on if the wipers are on for more than
15 seconds.
The system uses a light sensor, located
on top of the instrument panel, to deter-
mine light conditions. For proper opera-
tion, avoid placing any objects on or
near the sensor.
Exterior Lamp Control Switch
The exterior lamps also can be operated
manually using the control switch on the
lever to the left of the steering column.
The switch can be rotated to the follow-
ing positions:
AUTO (Automatic Lamp Control):
This position turns on the Automatic
Headlamp System.
(Off/On): When operating in the
AUTO position, a momentary turn of the
lamp control switch to this position will
turn off the Automatic Headlamp
System.
To activate the system, turn the switch
to this position again. The Automatic
Headlamp System is always turned on
when the vehicle is started.

Bluetooth
®
System
The in-vehicle Bluetooth system allows
users with a Bluetooth-enabled cell
phone to make and receive hands-free
phone calls utilizing the vehicle’s audio
system, microphone and controls. The
Bluetooth-enabled cell phone must be
paired with the in-vehicle Bluetooth sys-
tem before it can be used in the vehicle.
Bluetooth Controls
The following Bluetooth controls are
located on the steering wheel:
(Push to Talk): Press and hold for
two seconds to answer incoming calls,
confirm system information, and to start
voice recognition.
(End): Press to end or reject a
call, and to cancel an operation.
The system operates using voice
recognition commands. To help increase
accuracy, the system will play a short
tone after prompting you for information
or a command. Do not speak until after
the tone.
Not all phones will support all functions.
Visit www.saturn.com/bluetooth for
more information.
For instructions on how to use the system,
