It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å To begin assembly, push a SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER (S) into the large holes in the TOP (C), SHELF (E), DOOR BOTTOM (I), and DOOR UPRIGHTS (J). Do not tighten the TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS in this step. S Do not push TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS into these holes. (14 used) E J C J I S S www.
Step 2 å Fasten the LEFT END (B) to the TOP (C) and SHELF (E). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.

Step 5 å Slide the FRONT FEET (DD) into the grooves in the SKIRTS (L and R). You may need to gently tap them in with a hammer. å å Slide the REAR FEET (CC) into the grooves in the SIDE SKIRTS (R). å å Turn the ADJUSTABLE GLIDES (V) completely into the PROPEL NUTS (W). Use a hammer to gently tap a PROPEL NUT (W) into the holes shown in the FEET (CC and DD). Use the hole closest to the SKIRTS. NOTE: After your unit is standing upright, the ADJUSTABLE GLIDES can be turned to level the unit.
Step 6 å Fasten the FEET (CC and DD) to the BOTTOM (D). Use four BLACK 9/16" WAFER HEAD SCREWS (HH). å NOTE: Use the center hole in the FRONT FEET (DD). D DD DD CC HH BLACK 9/16" WAFER HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) Page 10 411309 www.sauder.
Step 7 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (JJ). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the SHELF (E).
Step 8 å Fasten the STRAIGHT HINGES (AA) to the LARGE DOOR (G). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (II). å Fasten the CURVED HINGES (BB) to the SMALL DOOR (H). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (II). II BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) G AA H BB Page 12 411309 www.sauder.
Step 9 å Fasten the DOOR BOTTOM (I) and DOOR UPRIGHTS (J) to the SMALL DOOR (H). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Fasten the DOOR BOTTOM (I) to the DOOR UPRIGHTS (J). Use four BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (EE). Step 10 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten the LARGE DOOR (G) to either the RIGHT END (A) or the LEFT END (B). Use the screws in the HINGES. å Fasten the SMALL DOOR (H) to the BOTTOM (D). Use the screws in the HINGES. å Fasten the PULLS (Y) to the DOORS (G and H).
Step 11 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The LARGE DOOR may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: å To adjust the LARGE DOOR up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOOR up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOOR in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOOR in or out, as needed.
Step 12 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The SMALL DOOR may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: å To adjust the DOOR from side to side (horizontal), loosen both horizontal adjustment screws. Move the DOOR left or right to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOOR in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOOR in or out, as needed.
Step 13 å å Place your unit into its final position against a wall. If necessary, turn the ADJUSTABLE GLIDES out to level the unit. å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (U) over the METAL PINS (T). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (K) onto the METAL PINS. å While holding the SMALL DOOR up, push a METAL PIN (T) into each END (A and B) as shown. These are used for stops to keep the SMALL DOOR from opening to the floor.
