Step 2 å Push eleven HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the BACKS (F) and DRAWER BRACES (P). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM. Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step. Step 5 å å å First, fasten the SKIRT (M) to the BOTTOM MOLDING (J). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). Then, fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (J) to one of the LOWER BRACES (D). Use four BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (9S). Fasten the MOLDING (O) to the UPPER BRACE (E). Tighten three TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Rounded edge These holes must be here.
Step 6 å å Insert three METAL PINS (1R) into the BACKS (F). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL PINS in the BACKS (F) insert into the holes in the LEFT END (B). Fasten the BACKS (F) to the LEFT END (B). HIDDEN CAMS that are not completely tightened may loosen, and parts may separate.
Step 7 å Fasten the LEFT MOLDING (L) to the LEFT END (B). Use two BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S). å å Insert two METAL PINS (1R) into the LOWER BRACES (D). å NOTE: When fastening the LOWER BRACES (D), you may need someone's help. Be sure the METAL PINS in the LOWER BRACES insert into the holes in the LEFT END (B). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. Fasten the LOWER BRACES (D) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
Step 8 å å Insert five METAL PINS (1R) into the LOWER BRACES (D) and BACKS (F). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL PINS in the LOWER BRACES (D) and BACKS (F) insert into the holes in the RIGHT END (A). å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the RIGHT MOLDING (K). Use two BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S). å Now, fasten the TOP (C) to the MOLDINGS (K, L, and N). Use seven BLACK 1-5/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (27S). Maximum 210 degrees Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the LOWER BRACES (D) and BACKS (F).
Step 9 å Insert the dowel end of four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS (10F) into the ENDS (A and B) as shown. Follow the enlarged diagram closely. å NOTE: If you already pushed the TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS into the large holes in the UPPER BRACE (E), pull the FASTENERS back out of the holes. Pull at the front and back edges, slowly working the FASTENERS out of the holes. å Push the UPPER BRACE (E) onto the TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS in the ENDS (A and B). Now, tighten the TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
Step 10 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. 1 With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. 2 D945 Un fi su nish rfa ed ce D30 D30 I D31 I D31 Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove. Groove å Insert the DRAWER SIDES (D30 and D31) at an angle into the slot at each end of the LOWER DRAWER FRONT (I).
Step 11 å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the DRAWER SIDES (D30 and D31). å Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (35GC) to the DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D30) and a DRAWER LEFT (35GD) to the DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D31). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3. å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. å Repeat this step for the other drawers. Almost time to celebrate! With a nap.
Step 12 å å Fasten two KNOBS (5K) to the SMALL DRAWER FRONT (H). Use two BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREWS (21S). å å NOTE: The drawer with the WARNING LABEL should be inserted into the top of your unit as shown in the next step. Apply the WARNING LABEL (5L) to the small drawer's DRAWER BOTTOM (D945). You should be able to read the label when the drawer is open. When the drawer is closed, it will hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
Step 13 å å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Position your unit in its final location. We recommend using the SAFETY STRAP (60M) for added stability. NOTE: Do not turn the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) into a wall stud. If you prefer to fasten the SAFETY STRAP (60M) to a wall stud, go to your local hardware store for proper hardware. å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Also available at www.yl-anchors.com) 1.
Step 14 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #3 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.
