Step 6 å Fasten the LEFT END (B2) to the TOP (C). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.

Step 10 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the SHELF (E).
Step 11 å Fasten two HINGES (14H) to each DOOR (G). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). 11S BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) 14H G G 14H www.sauder.
Step 12 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten the DOOR (G) to the LEFT END (B2) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten a KNOB (69K) to the DOOR (G).
Step 13 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 14 VIEW THE T-SLOT BOX VIDEO å Pull the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (9G) apart and slide them into the grooves in the DRAWER SIDES (D50 and D51). You may need to gently tap them in with a hammer. å å å NOTE: The DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS are marked "RH" and "LH" for easy identification. Fasten the DRAWER FRONT (M) to the DRAWER FRONT BRACKETS (9G). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Slide the DRAWER BOTTOM (D986) into the grooves in the DRAWER SIDES (D50 and D51) and DRAWER FRONT (M).
Step 15 å å VIEW THE T-SLOT BOX VIDEO Fasten the DRAWER BRACE (M65) to the DRAWER FRONT (M). Tighten one HIDDEN CAM. Fasten the DRAWER BACK (D80) to the DRAWER SIDES (D50 and D51) and DRAWER BRACE (M65). Use five BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (30S). 1 2 M65 Surface with HIDDEN CAM M Start each screw a few turns before completely tightening any of them. 30S BLACK 1-9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREW (5 used in this step) Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER BACK groove. Step 16 å å å VIEW THE DRAWER GLIDE VIDEO Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (40DC) to the DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D50) and the DRAWER LEFT (40DD) to the DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D51). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #2. Almost time to celebrate! With a nap. NOTE: The glides are not intended to rotate. Fasten the PULL (98K) to the DRAWER FRONT (M). Use two WASHERS (10I) and two SILVER 1/4" MACHINE SCREWS (61S).
Step 17 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A2 and B2). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (H) onto the METAL PINS. å To insert the drawer into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the glides on the drawer behind the glides on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. å Apply the WARNING LABEL (11L) to the DRAWER BOTTOM (D986).
Step 18 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREW (26S) into a stud in your wall. å å å Push a CAM COVER (13P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM on the ENDS (A2 and B2. NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry.
