It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å Push thirty HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B), UPRIGHTS (C and D), LARGE UPRIGHTS (E), TOP (F2), BOTTOM (G2), and SHELF (H2). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM except in the ENDS (A and B) and LARGE UPRIGHTS (E).
Step 2 å Turn fourteen CAM SCREWS (8F) into the FRONTLEGS (L) and UPRIGHT MOLDINGS (P). Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. (14 used) 8F L L P P Page 6 416091 www.sauder.
Step 3 å Turn eight BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. å Slide the MOLDINGS (O and Q) onto the ENDS (A and B). Line up the grooves in the MOLDINGS over the heads of the SCREWS in the ENDS. å NOTE: The END MOLDINGS (O) are wider than the UPPER END MOLDINGS (Q). å NOTE: Be sure to place the MOLDINGS in the exact locations shown below. Step 4 å Fasten the FRONT LEGS (L) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten eight HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the REAR LEGS (M) to the ENDS (A and B). Step 5 å Fasten the TOP (F2) and SHELF (H2) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Step 9 å Fasten the BOTTOM (G2) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the BOTTOM (G2) to the UPRIGHTS (C and D). Use four BLACK 1-15/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (113S). å Push the DOOR STOPS (4I) into the holes in the UPRIGHTS (C and D). 4I These holes must be here. Step 11 å Fasten three METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BOTTOM (G2). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL BRACKETS are even with the edge of the BOTTOM. å Fasten two SAFETY BRACKETS (1G) to the ENDS (A and B). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å å NOTE: Use the bottom holes in the SAFETY BRACKETS (1G). Fasten the BASE (N) to the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (G2). Use five BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the BRACKETS and into the BASE.
Step 12 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (I) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (I). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (I) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHTS (C, D, and E) and SHELF (H2).
Step 13 å Fasten eight METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the SUPPORTS (S and T). Use eight BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL BRACKETS are even with the edges of the SUPPORTS. å Fasten the SIDE SUPPORTS (T) to the SUPPORT (S). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the METAL BRACKETS and into the SUPPORT. å Fasten the SUPPORTS (S and T) to the BOTTOM (G2). Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the METAL BRACKETS and into the BOTTOM.
Step 14 å Fasten four CURVED HINGES (14H) to two of the DOORS (J). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). å Fasten two STRAIGHT HINGES (40H) to the remaining DOOR (J). Use four BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). STRAIGHT HINGE 11S 40H BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (12 used in this step) 14H J CURVED HINGE J J Page 18 416091 www.sauder.
Step 15 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å First, fasten the DOOR (J) with STRAIGHT HINGES (40H) to the RIGHT UPRIGHT (C). Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. å NOTE: Tighten the adjusting SCREWS completely in to center this DOOR between the UPRIGHTS. å Fasten a DOOR (J) with CURVED HINGES (14H) to the RIGHT END (A). Use the screws in the HINGES.
Step 16 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws.
Step 17 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S) into a stud in your wall. Step 18 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and LARGE UPRIGHTS (E). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (K) onto the METAL PINS. å å Push a CAM COVER (36P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry. NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information.

Déplier l'ARRIÈRE (I) et le placer sur l'élément.
