It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å To begin assembly, push a SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER (10F) into the large holes in the ENDS (A and B). å Repeat this step for the UPRIGHT (C) and BOTTOM (E). Step 2 å Turn ten CAM SCREWS (8F) into the FRONT LEGS (I and J) and TOP MOLDING (L). å Push ten HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B) and TOP (D). Step 3 å Fasten the LEFT END (B) and UPRIGHT (C) to the TOP (D). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.
Step 4 å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the UPRIGHT (C). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). å Fasten the FOOT (34E) to the BOTTOM (E). Use a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S) through the FOOT and into the UPRIGHT (C) and three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Adjustments will be made to the ADJUSTABLE FOOT after the unit is standing upright and in its final location. Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey.
Step 5 å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the TOP (D) and BOTTOM (E). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Slide the BOTTOM MOLDING* (O) onto the notched edge of the BOTTOM (E). å Insert two DOOR STOPS (4I) into the holes in the UPRIGHT (C). å *U.S. Patent No. 5,499,886 Notched edge E Slide the BOTTOM MOLDING (O) onto the notched edge. Step 6 Tap two MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches in the FRONT LEGS (I and J) and TOP MOLDING (L). å Use your hammer to tap the MOLDING CONNECTOR (17F) into the notches in the MOLDINGS Flat end Flat end 17F 17F J I L Page 10 418268 www.sauder.
Step 7 å Fasten the FRONT LEGS (I and J) and TOP MOLDING (L) to the ENDS (A and B) and TOP (D). Tighten ten HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be careful in handling the FRONT LEGS/TOP MOLDING assembly until it is fastened to your unit. 1 2 B J D A I L www.sauder.
Step 8 å å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Fasten the BACK LEGS (K) to the ENDS (A and B). Use six BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. Step 9 å å Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution NOTE: Be sure to position the perforations in the BACK as shown. Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.
Step 10 å Fasten two HINGES (14H) to each DOOR (G). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). 11S BLACK 1/2” FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) 14H G G 14H Page 14 418268 www.sauder.
Step 11 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten the DOOR (G) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops.
Step 12 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws.
Step 13 å å Slide an ADJUSTABLE SHELF MOLDING* (N) onto the notched edge of the ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H). å å å Separate a CARD on the CARD SHEET (38M) and insert into the CARD HOLDER. Then, fasten a CARD HOLDER (35M) to the ADJUSTABLE SHELF MOLDING (N). Use two SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREWS (15S). Repeat this step for the other ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H). *U.S. Patent No. 5,499,886 H Notched edge N Slide the ADJUSTABLE SHELF MOLDING (N) onto the notched edge.
Step 14 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (H) onto the METAL PINS. B H C H A 1R (8 used) Page 18 2R 418268 www.sauder.
Step 15 å å Position your unit in its final location. å å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the FRONT LEGS (I and J). Using your screwdriver through the hole in the BOTTOM (E), turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) downward until the FOOT touches the floor. Now, insert a HOLE PLUG (41P) into the hole in the BOTTOM (E). Step 16 å Apply the WARNING LABEL (1L) to the TOP (D). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. å å å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information.

ÉTAPE 7 ÉTAPE 11 Fixer les PIEDS AVANT (I et J) et la MOULURE SUPÉRIEURE (L) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et au DESSUS (D). Serrer dix EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES. Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale. REMARQUE : Faire preuve de prudence pour manipuler l’assemblage PIEDS AVANT/MOULURE SUPÉRIEURE jusqu’à ce qu’il soit fixé sur l’unité. ÉTAPE 8 Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Fixer les PIEDS ARRIÈRE (K) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B).
ÉTAPE 13 ÉTAPE 15 Enfiler la MOULURE DE TABLETTE RÉGLABLE* (N) sur le chant cranté de la TABLETTE RÉGLABLE (H). Placer l'élément dans son emplacement final.
