Step 3 å å NOTE: Do not peel the backing completely off of the FELT STRIP (84M). å IMPORTANT: Do not pull tightly on the FELT STRIP as you apply it to the BARREL REST. Pulling the strip tight as you apply it will cause the felt to separate from the edge of the board. å Apply the FELT STRIP (84M) to the BARREL REST (G). Start the exposed end of the FELT STRIP at one end of the BARREL REST and firmly press, do not pull, on the FELT STRIP. Work your way down the BARREL REST.
Step 4 å Push fifty-four HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B), TOP (C), BOTTOM (D), SHELF (E), BACKS (F), and SPACERS (U and V). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM except for the long edges of the ENDS (A and B) and BACKS (F). V U E Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step. How to use the HIDDEN CONNECTOR To fasten two parts together using the HIDDEN CONNECTORS, insert your screwdriver, at an angle, into the slot in the HIDDEN CONNECTOR. While pushing the screw into the hole of the adjoining part, turn the screwdriver clockwise to tighten. Step 11 å Fasten the TOP (C) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the SHELF (E) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Step 12 å First, fasten the STOCK REST (K) to the SHELF (E). Use three BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (9S). å NOTE: There are no pre-drilled holes in the STOCK REST. The SCREWS will tighten into the groove. å Then, fasten the BOTTOM (D) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Step 13 å å å å å å Insert the DOOR STOPS (4I) into the exact holes shown in the SPACERS (U and V). Push the LARGE RUBBER SLEEVES (58G) onto the METAL BRACKETS (4G). The RUBBER SLEEVES will be a tight fit. Fasten the METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the LOWER SPACER (U). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). NOTE: Be sure to position the BRACKETS exactly as shown in the enlarged diagram. Fasten the SHELF MOLDINGS (R) to the BOTTOM (D) and SHELF (E). Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS.
Step 14 å Slide seven DIVIDERS (89M) onto the RACK MOLDING (S) so the holes in the DIVIDERS line up with the holes in the RACK MOLDING. å å å NOTE: The DIVIDERS (89M) should all face the same direction. Fasten these seven DIVIDERS (89M) to the RACK MOLDING (S). Use fourteen BLACK 1-3/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (118S). Insert the RACK MOLDING (S) into the DIVIDER (89M) on the LEFT END (B) and position as shown.
Step 15 å Insert the other end of the RACK MOLDING (S) into the DIVIDER (89M) on the RIGHT END (A) before fastening the RIGHT END (A) to your unit. Maximum 210 degrees å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the TOP (C), BOTTOM (D), SHELF (E) and fasten the RIGHT REAR LEG (N) to the BACK (F). Tighten ten HIDDEN CAMS. Step 16 å Fasten the TOP MOLDING (J) to the TOP (C). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the MOLDING CONNECTORS in the FRONT LEGS (L and M) insert into the notches in the TOP MOLDING. You may need to gently tap them in with your hammer. å Maximum 210 degrees Arrow Minimum 190 degrees Fasten the UPPER SPACER (V) to the TOP MOLDING (J). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Step 18 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten the LEFT DOOR (I) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. å å å Repeat this step for the other DOORS (H, P, and Q). å Fasten a STRIKE PLATE (6I) to the LEFT DOOR (I). Use one BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (11S). å Insert the DOOR STOP (4I) into the hole in the SHELF (E) exactly as shown.
Step 19 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 20 å å NOTE: The RIGHT DOOR is not shown in this step. å NOTE: The SLIDE CATCHES will slide into the holes in the SPACER underneath the TOP (C) and SHELF (E) for extra support for the LEFT DOOR. å Fasten the KNOBS (28K) to the SMALL DOORS (P and Q). Use two SILVER 1-1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (95S) through the SMALL DOORS, through the DOOR MOLDINGS (T), and into the KNOBS. Fasten the SLIDE CATCHES (6J) to the LEFT DOOR (I). Use four BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). Almost time to celebrate! With a nap.

PADLOCK - NOT PROVIDED å å Place your unloaded guns in your unit so the gun stocks are sitting on the STOCK REST (K). å Fasten the BAR RECEIVERS from the BAR RECEIVER/PLUG SET (92M) to the ENDS (A and B). Use four BLACK 9/16" PAN HEAD SCREWS (51S). å Insert the TUBE SET (85M) into the BAR RECEIVERS (92M) on the ENDS (A and B).
Step 22 å å å å å NOTE: The key extensions on the LOCKS are bent in different directions. Fasten the LARGE LOCK (13J) to the RIGHT DOOR (H). Use two SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23S). Fasten the LOCKS (12J) to the SMALL DOORS (P and Q). Use four SILVER 5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (23S). NOTE: Be sure the metal bars on the LOCKS are facing the direction shown. Push a LOCK COVER (10J) over the key extension on the LOCKS.
Step 23 å å Place your unit in its final location against a wall. We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (16S) into a stud in your wall. Step 24 å å Push a CAM COVER (13P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. å å å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. Apply the WARNING LABEL (9L) to the LEFT END (B) near the top. You should be able to read the label when the DOORS are open. When the DOORS are closed, the label will be hidden. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
