Step 5 å Fasten the TOP/BOTTOMS (C) and SHELF (D) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten twelve TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2.
Step 6 å Fasten the BASE (G) and TOP MOLDING (I) to the TOP/ BOTTOMS (C). Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) through the ANGLE BRACKETS on the TOP/BOTTOMS and into the BASE and TOP MOLDING. Step 7 å å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. å Fasten two TIE PLATES (3G) to the END MOLDINGS (H) and the TOP MOLDING (I). Use four BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: There are no pre-drilled holes in the END MOLDINGS. The SCREWS will tighten into the grooves. Fasten two TIE PLATES (3G) to the END MOLDINGS (H) and the BASE (G). Use four BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Step 8 å å Unfold the BACK (E) and lay it over your unit. å å Fasten the BACK (E) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Caution Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (E). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse.

Step 10 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (16S) into a stud in your wall. å å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B).
