Exceptional Speed and Capacity
• At 15-ppm, the Gestetner F104 Series laser print engine is the fastest in its class, ensuring
that your mid volume applications are handled with ease.
• Super G3 33.6-Kbps modem with JBIG data compression ensures a
fast, cost-cutting transmission speed of up to 30-page-per-minute –
twice as fast as conventional fax modems.
• The 1.3-second-per-page Quick Scan allows the user to scan multi-page documents into
memory in a flash. And with Parallel (Quick) Memory Transmission, the system begins
transmitting a fax as soon as the first page has been scanned into memory, ensuring a
connection has been made and expediting the communication.
• Full Dual Access, also called Multi Access, lets
users store documents into memory while a job
is being transmitted or while printing a message
from memory. Workflow is never interrupted.
• In addition to the large standard 7-MB document memory capacity, the optional 40MB Flash
Memory Card expands internal document memory to 2,200 pages. The 40MB Card also
provides 600 x 600 dpi fax reception and copying, as well as unlimited memory battery
backup.
• If a power failure occurs, the Gestetner F104 Series’ memory battery backup retains stored
documents for 12 hours. If the optional 40MB Flash Memory Card is installed, memory is
non-volatile, i.e., received messages are stored permanently. This means that documents
stored in memory, perhaps for a Send Later operation or paper-out reception, are retained
until the problem is resolved.
