ROTATING FAN BLADES
NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS INTO THE AIR INTAKE
OR OUTLET FOR ANY REASON!
Shut off the engine, remove the spark plug wire
and only then use a stick or similar object to
remove material if clogging has occurred.
If the air intake or outlet becomes clogged, shut off 1.

stick or similar item, dislodge the clogged material.
Then resume normal operation.

Air flow can be directed to the side or front by adjusting
the two-position deflector. The front discharge position is
used to remove debris from along retaining walls, fences,
etc. The side discharge position to form windrows and/
or piles. The air speed of the blower is regulated by the
engine throttle.
To reduce windrowing or to blow over an obstacle, 1.
point the deflector upwards.
WARNING
DO NOT operate without Two-Position Deflector
properly installed.
To avoid blowing into an area, close the deflector 2.
and reduce the throttle setting.
Plan how to clear a yard or parking lot to reduce 3.
clearing time.
Keep blower intake and outlet clean.4.
Use a slow travel speed when clearing heavy or 5.
large amounts of material.
Operate the engine at full throttle for best results. 6.
The engine is designed to be operated at full speed.
