5. Postpaid Service

5.1 What kinds of Postpaid Plans are available?

ThurayaIP Postpaid Service offers the following plans:

Starter

Basic

Extra

Unlimited

Stream

5.2 How will we be able to distinguish between the different monthly plans; are there 5 different

Post paid Sims?

Only one SIM Card for all ThurayaIP Postpaid package plans. Service Provider can activate as per

subscriber requirements as Starter, Basic, Extra, Unlimited or Stream.

5.3 What are the charges the subscriber has to pay on subscription?

Activation fee

Monthly Fee prorated depending on date of activation (Free MBs will be prorated)

Monthly Fee for the next month

5.4 Can I have a pool of ThurayaIPs using the same package?

Yes, you can subscribe to SharePlan whereby you can pool the airtime and use this across all these

terminals.

5.5 Can I migrate between the pricing plans every time I want?

You can migrate from a low usage plan to a high usage plan anytime during the month. However,

migrating from high usage plan to low usage plan is possible at the beginning of the month ie 1st of the

any month.

5.6 If my laptop shuts down while I am connected with my ThurayaIP, do I need to start it up again

when it switches on?

No.

5.7 If I add a proxy does it enhance my connection experience?

Proxy will ensure that the users are not able to browse the sites that you prohibit. However, this has a

slight negative impact on the throughput.

5.8 If I replace my ThurayaIP SIM do I need to go through a new setup/configuration?

No, but ensure to have the terminal powered off while replacing the

SIM.
