7.10 Can we do the Over the Air (OTA) upgrade of ThurayaIP terminal?

No. ThurayaIP terminal can be upgraded only by manually running the necessary ThurayaIP upgrader

file on the PC connected to the ThurayaIP terminal. The upgrader file can be downloaded from Thuraya

website http://www.thuraya.com/thuraya-ip-upgrader.

7.11 Can I use my ThurayaIP with Videoconference solutions such as Polycom or Tandberg?

Yes, ThurayaIP can be used with a wide variety of videoconference solutions like Polycom, Tandberg, etc

7.12 Can I use VOIP solutions such as Avaya to call using ThurayaIP?

ThurayaIP is a pure IP connection. Any applications possible on IP network are possible on ThurayaIP as

well.

7.13 How can I access my ThurayaIP if I lose the password of the Wi-Fi?

Connect using the LAN or USB cable. (Contact your service provider to reset the password)

7.14 Can I browse internet/access mailbox using my phone and Wi-Fi setup of ThurayaIP?

Yes, you can connect to ThurayaIP using Wi-Fi on your phone. Once connected, you can browse;

send/receive emails, etc.

7.15 Can we use 2 Thuraya IP terminals to increase the speed to 2 times 384kbps

You need a special router to bond the bandwidth of two ThurayaIP terminals. Thuraya is currently in the

final stages of testing one such router where two ThurayaIP terminals on streaming mode can be

bonded to get an aggregate bandwidth of 768 Kbps. This will be announced very soon.
