Smart Device Mode
The unit has a Bluetooth function that can receive a signal within 10 meters.
Pair the unit with a Bluetooth device
1. Press Mode button repeatedly to select Smart Device mode.
2. The display will show "Waiting BT Connection".
3. Activate your Bluetooth device and select the search mode.
4. “R3” will appear on your Bluetooth device.
5. Select “R3” and enter “0000” for the password if necessary.
6. “BT Connected” and device name will show on the display when connection is successful.
Connect to another paired Bluetooth device
1. Press the Pair button repeatedly to select the device you want to connect, and then press Scroll/Select
knob to confirm.
2. The display will show "Waiting BT Connection", then select “R3” on your Bluetooth device.
3. “BT Connected” and device name will show on the display when connection is successful.
Remotely Control via iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch
This feature enables you to navigate the radio via iPhone/iPad /iPod Touch using a Bluetooth connection.
All iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices running iOS 3.1.3 or later (also iPad and iPad 2 devices in iPhone
compatibility mode) allows users to control your radio as long as you install it properly.
First and foremost, we need to make sure App Store has already installed on your device properly, if it isn’t,
