After unpacking please check for any damage. It is rare that a unit is damaged during shipping, but if this does happen contact your retailer immediately. We recommend that you keep the original carton and packing material for future shipping.

Press “R” button, then the left channel will switch off gradually. Press ”L/R” button, stereo balance will reset. 03TREBLE BUTTON Press ”-”, then treble will be decreased; Press ”+”, then treble will be increased.
H I F I L O U D S P E A K E R S Connecting your speakers ACTIVE S5 S5 S5 INPUT OUTPUT POWER STEP 1 Connect the RED (+) and BLACK (-) terminals from the left speaker to the corresponding terminals on the right speaker using the included speaker cable. Insulation on cable must be stripped on all ends. Note: Because this Scansonic system is self-powered, do not connect the speaker terminals to the speaker outputs of a stereo receiver.
H I F I L O U D S P E A K E R S Use with iPod / MP3 player A S5 B ACTIVE INPUT OUTPUT S5 ACTIVE POWER INPUT OUTPUT S5 POWER CONFIGURATION A (for use with iPod): For charging your iPod while playing, connect the 30 -pin cable from the iPod to USB jack on the rear panel. Connect the 35mm mini-jack audio cable from iPod headphone jack to the AUDIO IN jack on the rear panel of S5 Active.
H I F I S5 L O U D S P E A K E R S Use with dockingstation A B ACTIVE INPUT OUTPUT S5 ACTIVE POWER INPUT OUTPUT S5 POWER CONFIGURATION A (For use with iPod Universal Dockingstation): Place the dockingstation next to your Scansonic S5 speakers. Connect the Apple 30-pin cable from the dock to USB jack on the rear panel. Connect the included 35mm minijack audio cable from the dock to AUDIO IN jack on rear panel. Insert you iPod in dock, set the volume and enjoy.

This limited warranty is valid for the original owner for a period of two years from the date of purchase, it is not transferable.
