Safety & Caution 1 1. Please read the following safety statement carefully. 2. Please preserve this user manual for reference sometime. 3. Before cleaning SG300RFM, the users must cut off all AC power. Do not use liquid or spray type of detersive to clean SG300RFM. Please use dampish cotton cloth to clean SG300RFM. 4. The outlet must be set nearby SG300RFM for connecting power easily. 5. 6. Keep SG300RFM dry to avoid short circuit.

3 Introduction 3.1 Product Description This wireless hand-held long-range CCD scanner features a freedom of scanning without the limitation of cable. Thanks to the user-friendly two-way communication, the operator will be alarmed if the scanned result was not reached the receiving Cradle. With the most advanced narrow-band RF technology, this scanner can be operated at 15 Meters range(Open space) and features one Cradle that supports multiple scanners (Maximum 8 scanners).

3.5 Cradle Installation To The Host Device RS232 1. Turn off the host device. 2. Connect the 10-pin RJ45 male connector into the 10-pin modular jack on the bottom of the cradle. 3. Connect the 9-pin D-type Female connector of the RS232 cable to the proper COM port of the host device. 4. Plug the external power supply into the power jack on the bottom of the cradle. 5. Plug the power supply into the AC outlet. The red LED on the rear of the cradle will stay on. 6. Turn on the host device.

Keyboard Wedge 1. Turn off the host device. 2. Connect the 10-pin RJ45 male connector into the 10-pin modular jack on the bottom of the cradle. 3. Disconnect the keyboard from host. 4. Connect the “Y” ends of the communication cable to the keyboard and keyboard port on the host device. If necessary, use the male/female adapter cable supplied with the scanner for the proper connections. 5. Plug the external power supply into the power jack on the bottom of the cradle. 6.

USB 1. Turn off the host device. 2. Connect the 10-pin RJ45 male connector into the 10-pin modular jack on the bottom of the charger cradle. 3. Connect the USB A type connector to the USB port on the host device. 4. Plug the power supply into the power jack on the bottom of the cradle. 5. Plug the power supply into the AC outlet. The red LED on the rear of the cradle will stay on. 6. Turn on the host device. 7. Establish communication between the scanner and cradle.

3.6 Cradle/Dongle Installation Skip resistant Pad position. Connect cable and adaptor and lock up the iron panel. The other side of cable will be connected with Host PC. Lock the iron panel of Cradle by screwdriver. .

3 產品介紹 3.1 產品說明 SG300RFM 是一組長距離無線掃瞄器，因應時下企業使用者對於移動操作的需求，SG300RFM 採用最先進的 RF 無線技術，可無線雙向通訊，一組接收器最多可接收 8 組手持式條碼掃瞄器，在開放空間無干擾環境中最大接收距離可達 15 公尺。 SG300RFM 整合接收器與充電裝置於一體，同時預留了掃描器直接充電的選擇，更貼近使用者的操作上的需求。 (P.S. 第一次使用請充電 8 小時以上) 3.2 出貨說明 SG300RFM 包含接收器、掃描器與充電座，可依使用者不同需求選擇與搭配，標準出貨之內容描述如下：標準出貨包裝： A.主機： (a) 手持式無線掃瞄器(內附鋰電池 x1) (b) 無線接收充電座 (c) 電源供應器(AC In 90V~264V,47~63Hz / DC Out 5V / 1.2A) (d) 設定手冊 (e) 操作說明書 (f) 線材 (RS232, Keyboard, USB 介面任選一種) B.

3.5 連線方式 RS232 A. 將連接之電腦(裝置)電源關閉。 B. 連接傳輸線(RJ-45 接頭)接於充電座下方右側連接座上。 C. 將 9 Pin 的 RS232 接頭接於要連接之電腦 COM Port 上。 D. 將電源供應器接頭連接於充電座下方左側連接孔上。 E. 待所有線材都連接上後，將電源供應器插上電源，充電座 LED 紅燈則會亮起，表示功能正常。 F.
