ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS:
The components covered in this report are filter chokes which are intended
to be used in electronic data processing equipment and similar equipment where the
acceptability of the combination has been determined by Underwriters Laboratories
Inc. The filter chokes have been investigated under the most recent requirements
of UL 1283.
The filter chokes are wired in series with one or more lines and consist
primarily of a ring core with two or more windings and either fully or partially
encapsulated in plastic housings.
