CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTABILITY;
General - For use as factory installed components of other equipment where
the acceptability of the combination has been determined by Underwriters
Laboratories Inc. The following are among the features that should be considered
in evaluating the components in the end use application.
1. Spacings between terminals and dead metal parts shall comply with the
applicable end product requirements.
2. The choke should be provided with an overall enclosure suitable for the
applicable end product requirements.
3. The choke has not been investigated for use in circuits supplied from
a voltage source where the potential to ground is greater than 250 V.
4. Leakage current should be measured to determine compliance to the
applicable end product requirements.
5. This component has been judged on the basis of the required spacings in
the Standard for Electromagnetic Interference Filters, Paragraph 20.2
which covers the end use product for which the component is designed.
6. Case temperature should be monitored in the end product.
7. Terminals have not been evaluated as field wiring terminals.
