Power Supply
Power Adaptor
1. The unit requires DC 9V 1.0A.
2. Plug the supplied adaptor cable into the connector on the back of the unit and the other end into
a suitable wall socket.
3. Make sure that the output power of the wall outlet matches the required power of the adaptor.
Note:
If not using the unit for a longer period of time, unplug the adaptor from the wall outlet and from
the unit.
Battery Power
Insert 6x 1.5V size UM-2/C batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are in-
serted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not
be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage
to your set.
Notes:
Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
To use the appliance with batteries, disconnect the AC power cord from it.
Basic Functions
Switching the Unit On & Off
1. Power the unit as described above.
2. The unit is now in standby mode. The Standby Indicator will be lit red.
3. To switch the unit on, press the Power button once.
4. To switch the unit off into standby mode, press the Power button again.
Source Selection
With the unit switched on, press the Source button repeatedly to switch between the following
modes: Radio, CD, USB, AUX.
Volume Control
To increase the volume, press the
+
Volume+ button.
To decrease the volume, press the Volume- button.
When the unit is switched off and back on (incl. disconnecting it from a power source), the vol-
ume setting will be the same as before switching the unit off.
Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described above.
2. The unit will switch on to radio mode. The frequency will be shown in the display.
3. Select a desired radio station by pressing the Skip/Search Down or Skip/Search Up but-
ton repeatedly.
4. To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds the
Skip/Search Down or Skip/Search Up button.
Note:
For the best FM reception fully extend the antenna.
