Basic Functions
Switching the Unit On & Off
1. Power the unit as described above.
2. To switch the unit on, rotate the OFF/Volume Control clockwise. The Power Indicator will light
up.
3. To switch the unit off, rotate the OFF/Volume Control counter-clockwise until it latches into place.
Volume Control
To increase the volume, rotate the OFF/Volume Control clockwise.
To decrease the volume, rotate the OFF/Volume Control counter-clockwise.
Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described above.
2. Select the desired band (FM, MW or LW) using the Band Selector.
3. Tune to the desired radio station using the Tuning Wheel. The frequency is shown in the Tuning
Scale.
Note:
For the best FM reception fully extend the antenna.
Connectors
Headphone Connector
You can connect 3.5 mm headphones (not included) to the headphone connector on the side of the
unit. When headphones are connected the internal speakers of the unit are deactivated. To listen via
the unit’s speakers, disconnenct the headphones.
AUX Input
You can connect the audio output of an external device such as a CD or MP3 player to this unit to
listen to the sound of that device through the amplier of this music system.
To connect the external device please use a standard stereo audio cable (3.5 mm to 3.5 mm
plugs) (not included) to connect the headphone out or audio line out of the external device to the
AUX input socket of this unit.
Switch the unit on. With a 3.5 mm audio cable connected, the unit automatically is in AUX mode.
Switch the external device (e.g. MP3 player) on.
Start playback of the external device and adjust the volume control of the main unit to the desired
level.
Remember to switch off the unit when you are nished using the external device.
