DITRA-HEAT system installation in a shower requires KERDI be installed on top. The Schluter-Shower System and KERDI family of products have been tested and are listed
and approved as a fully waterproof system. Installation of KERDI over DITRA-HEAT in a shower ensures a dry environment for the heating cable. The KERDI membrane was
evaluated and is certified waterproof by ICC-ES (Report ESR-2467). The Schluter-Shower System was evaluated and is certified waterproof by ICC-ES (Report PMG-1204).
