Instructions for Rule 21 Compliance
To be California Rule 21 compliant, and for CEC compliance, upgrade your unit firmware
to Version 1.0 or later, and update the Grid Code region in the InsightFacility desktop app.
Note: This procedure is for authorized personnel only. Changing this setting will modify
the Region Settings for all devices in the system.
NOTICE
INCOMPATIBLE FIRMWARE
DONOTuse the InsightFacility firmware upgrade package to update the firmware on the
Conext XW+. The InsightFacility firmware is not compatible with the Conext XW+.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
To update firmware:
n Follow the instructions in Upgrading Other Device Firmware on page 47.
To update the Grid Code region in InsightFacility:
1. Log in to the InsightFacility web application.
2. Go to Setup > Region Settings, and type your password.
