the settings to take effect.
n Viewing basic and advanced settings (see "Displaying Device Menus" in the
SCPOwner's guide). The basic menu contains items you might have to view and
adjust on a routine basis. The advanced menu contains items intended for service
personnel and one-time setup, such as auxiliary output and custom battery
configuration. After configuring the charge controller, help prevent unintended
advanced configuration by using the combined keypress (described in the
SCPOwner's guide) again to hide the advanced menu items.
n Modifying configurable settings (see "Identifying Changeable Settings" in the
SCPOwner's guide). Configurable settings are identified by square brackets []
around the values along the right side of the screen.

The Conext Gateway allows you to configure and monitor the charge controller using a
web application on a PC or laptop. For more information, see the Conext Gateway
Owner's Guide (975-0806-01-xx).

n Putting the charge controller into Standby mode
Important: Any configuration (change in settings) made when the Solar Charge
Controller is in Operating mode will not be saved unless the charge controller is put
into Standby and then back to Operating mode.
