Prioritizing a Module
Summary Using the Advantys configuration software, you can assign priority to digital input
modules in your island assembly. Prioritization is a method of fine tuning the NIM’s
I/O scan of the island bus. The NIM will scan modules with priority more frequently
than other island modules.
Limitations You can prioritize digital input modules only. You cannot prioritize digital output
modules or analog modules of any kind. You can prioritize only 10 digital input
modules for a given island.
