Use and Care Manual

31-English
(1) Signal Strength: The strength of the network signal. A series of periods is displayed if no signal is present, or if the
thermostat is not connected to a network. The periods blink if the thermostat is in join mode, and is searching for
a network.
(2) Current Time: The time of day, automatically set from a radio network. The time can also be set manually
(see page 24).
(3) Energy Cost per Kilowatt Hour: The price you are paying for each kilowatt hour of use. Your energy service
provider may offer programs that have varying rates. If so, this number will change as the rate changes. Contact
your energy service provider for more information.
(4) Your Electricity Use: The amount of electricity that you are using, measured in kilowatts. The Energy screen gets
this information from your selected loads (panel meter, smart plug, LLC, etc.).
(5) Your Energy Cost: The cost of your present electricity consumption. The number comes from multiplying Your
Electricity Use (4) by Your Energy Cost (3). The number shows the amount you are spending now, and changes as
your home energy use changes.
(6) Button Functions: Labels for the menu and task buttons beneath the screen.
(7) Electricity Use Displayed as a Bar Graph: Your electricity use displayed graphically. Historical data is displayed
from the past few hours, based on the loads that are selected. The scale of the vertical axis varies with Your
Electricity Use. This graph is useful for a quick comparison of selected loads.
