Description of the Compact iPC
8.4" touch screen front panel MPC KT1 2NAX 00p
The touch screen front panel of the 8.4" industrial PCs MPC KT1 2NAX 00p is comprised of:
1 8.4" SVGA active matrix color TFT LCD screen (maximum display area 800 x 600
points) with high denition analog touch panel.
2 Aluminum alloy front panel with IP 65 membrane (mounted on a treated steel
frame).
3 Two LEDs marked:
v ON (green), PC switched on,
v DISK (green), accessing IDE bus (accessing hard disk memory, etc.).
Lower faces, 8.4"
Expansion slots and connection elements are accessible from the rear of the PC, with the
following elements located on the lower side:
1 Connector for plugging-in the a 100 to 240 V power cable.
2 Vent tted with a dust lter and fan.
3 Slot for additional Compact Flash memory card.
4 Two 9-pin male SUB-D connectors marked COM1 and COM2 for serial links (see
details on page 2/16).
5 Four USB 2.0 ports.
6 Two RJ45 connectors for the Ethernet link:
v 1 x 10/100/1000 Mbps
v 1 x 10/100 Mbps
7 Slot for a PCI bus expansion card.
Note: AC versions have an On/Off switch.
12" touch screen front panel MPC KT2 2pAX 20N
The touch screen front panel of the 12" industrial PCs MPC KT2 2pAX 20N is comprised of:
1 12" XGA active matrix color TFT LCD screen (maximum display area 1024 x 768
points) with high denition analog touch panel.
2 Aluminum alloy front panel with IP 65 membrane (mounted on a treated steel
frame).
3 Two LEDs marked:
v ON (green), PC switched on,
v DISK (green), accessing IDE bus (accessing hard disk memory, etc.).
4 Sealing plate to maintain the IP 65 degree of protection when in place, and when
removed, provides access to:
v USB 2.0 port.
v “Pencil point” RESET button for restarting the processor.
Lower and left-hand sides, 12"
Expansion slots and connection elements are accessible from the rear of the PC, with the
following elements located on the lower, left-hand and right-hand sides:
1 Connector for plugging-in the a 100 to 240 V power cable.
2 Vent tted with a dust lter and fan.
3 Slot for additional Compact Flash memory card.
4 One 9-pin male SUB-D port marked COM1 for serial links (see details on
page 2/16).
5 Four USB 2.0 ports.
6 Slot for 1 additional PCMCIA card.
7 Two RJ45 connectors for the Ethernet link:
v 1 x 10/100/1000 Mbps
v 1 x 10/100 Mbps
8 Slot for a PCI bus expansion card.
9 RAS port.
Note: AC versions have an On/Off switch.
