Compact iPCs are “rugged” industrial PCs suited to industrial environments.
They are compact, have a wide performance range and are open to Windows XP
®
Pro
applications.
Powered by an a 100 to 240 V or c 24 V supply, they are tted with an 8.4", 12" or
15" active matrix back-lit color TFT LCD touch screen. There is a USB port on the
front panel (except 8.4") in addition to the standard USB ports, a hard disk u 80 GB
or u 160 GB or a Flash Disk u 15 GB, as well as a slot for a PCI card and at least 1
slot for a PCMCIA card.

M 1 GHz processor) feature
two Ethernet ports: 1 x 10/100BASE-T and 1 x 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45
connectors). They also have a total of 4 USB ports.
b The 12" models MPC KT2 2pAX 20Np (Intel Celeron M 1.5 GHz processor)
feature two Ethernet ports: 1 x 10/100BASE-T and 1 x 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45
connectors). They also have a total of 5 USB ports, 1 of which is on the front panel.
The disk is replaceable by the user.
b The 15" models MPC KT5 5ppX 20p (Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz processor) feature
two Ethernet ports: 1 x 10/100BASE-T and 1 x 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ45
connectors). They also have a total of 5 USB ports, 1 of which is on the front panel.
Compact iPC - Software package

Compact iPC hardware is also available in “package” form, which includes
either Vijeo Designer
™
RT or Vijeo
®
Citect
®
application software.
The use of Vijeo Designer on Magelis Compact iPC industrial PCs requires HMI
Edition-Vijeo Designer RT version for MPC KT1 2NpX 00H (8.4") (1) or MPC KT5
5NpX 20H (15") or activation of a Vijeo Designer license (ref. VJDSNRTMPC) for the
MPC KT2 2NpX 20N (12").
The Vijeo Citect edition of the Magelis iPC complies with the general sales policy for
this software. It is comprised of the DVD with the software and documentation, the
USB key with the user rights already registered and one year technical support. The
software can be used immediately. Updates and license upgrades are available by
providing the key number and are subject to the usual conditions.
This type of offer enables users to acquire, at an attractive price, a pre-installed and
tested industrial-grade system, which is correctly dimensioned to suit software
application requirements. It is supported across the entire Schneider Electric sales
network.
Vijeo Designer
™
Runtime for iPC
Magelis
®
iPC products have traditionally been sold with the choice of units with or
without Vijeo Runtime installed. Vijeo Designer Runtime for Magelis iPC products
can be purchased and installed separately using part number VJDSNRTMPC.
Begining in mid-2010 iPC part numbers for units including the runtime pre installed
will be phased out. It will no longer be necessary to order specic products with
runtime already installed.
(1) HMI Runtime Editions will soon be replaced by the client edition + VJDSNRTMPC.
For example, MPCST52NAJ20H will become MPCST52NAJ20T + VJDSNRTMPC.
