Table 2-1 describes the settings available for the charge controller’s battery
configuration.

Enabled
Disabled Enables or disables battery
equalization. If the battery type
is set to GEL or AGM, this
setting is not displayed.

Bankx
BattBank1 Sets the battery bank
connected to the charge
controller. This is important for
networked installations where
multiple devices must
coordinate their activity around
common DC connections.

Batt Voltage 24V
48V
48V Sets your nominal battery
voltage. Select the nominal
voltage level that matches your
system’s battery voltage.
Changing the battery voltage
will reset Trigger Level and
Clear Level to their default
values for the auxiliary output if
Trig Src is set to LowBattV
or HighBattV (see Table 2-4
on page 2–9).

Custom
Flooded Sets your battery type.
Selecting Custom allows you to
adjust equalize, bulk,
absorption, and float voltage
settings. You can also adjust
battery temperature
compensation from the Custom
Battery menu. The Custom
option is available only when
advanced menus are
displayed.
