Figure 4.2 Mounting distances and air circulation
The specified continuous current is applicable if the following distances
are maintained and the device is installed vertically.
• At least 10 mm of free space is required in front of the device.
• At least 50 mm of free space is required above the device.
• At least 30 mm of free space is required for "d".
• At least 200 mm of free space is required below the device to allow
for cable installation without bends.
If other parts are mounted in the areas mentioned, the possible contin-

Mounting the device The product can be mounted directly via the narrow or wide mounting
surface with two M4 screws. The product can optionally be snapped
onto a standard TH35 rail (accessories) as per IEC 60715 (DIN rail 35
mm). See chapter 3.2.1 "Dimensions", for the dimensions of the mount-
ing holes.
왘 Mount the device in a vertical position (±10°).
왘 Use connection elements (busbars, shield clamps or similar) to
route the cable and connect the shield.
NOTE: Painted surfaces have an insulating effect. Before mounting the
device to a painted mounting plate, remove all paint across a large area
of the mounting points until the metal is completely bare.
