Grommets, TET (IP 67)
Pull the cable back gently to lock it. The
grommet is ready.
Puncture the diaphragm using the wires from
which the outer sheath has been removed.
Press the grommet into the hole.
Basic Data
Suitable for
Untapped holes of 0.5 to 4-mm
thick material.
Applications
For completely dust and water-
tight cable and pipe inlets, for ex-
ample in cars, aeroplanes, ships,
electrical and hydraulic equipment,
enclosed apparatus and light fit-
tings.
Advantages
• Fast installation – seals without
tightening (S 55, IP 67)
• Permits vibration in cables and
pipes without detracting from
the seal
• The sealing diaphragm is punc-
tured only when the cable is
drawn through – acts as a blind
plug and is ready for installation

IP 67 in accordance with IEC.

mer (EPDM) grey. Chloroprene
